Abstract

The bionomics of Euborellia annulipes (Lucas 1847) were observed in Western Kenya. Exclusively 5 larval stages occurred and no winged or tegminate adults were recorded. FF laid up to 4 egg clutches with a total of 91.4 ± 11.8 eggs. In the laboratory, FF and MM lived 154 ± 7.1 days and 118.8 ± 6.3 days, respectively, and sex ratio was 1:1.

Kurzfassung

Die Bionomie von Euborellia annulipes (Lucas 1847) in West-Kenia wird beschrieben. Es wurden ausschließlich 5 Larvenstadien beobachtet. Bei den Imagines trat keine Bildung von Tegmina oder Alae auf. In Laborzuchten lebten FF 154 ± 7.1 Tage und MM 118.8 ± 6.3 Tage. FF produzierten in max 4 Gelegen 91.4 ± 11.8 Eier. Das Geschlechterverhältnis lag bei 1:1.
