Abstract Chromatomyia horticola (Goureau, 1851) as an important leaf miner, has been attacked by different parasitoids. In this study we reared Halticoptera andriescui Mitroiu, 2005 (Hym.: Chalcidoidea, Pteromalidae) for the first time from C. horticola. The species H. andriescui is a new record for Iranian fauna. Trophic association of this parasitoid with C. horticola also was established and this is new host record.
