Abstract
In order to describe the intrusion mechanisms of the Vehmaa rapakivi granite batholith, petrophysical investigations, including the anisotropy of magnetic susceptibility, geochemistry and additional field observations were made. Recent aeromagnetic images combinedwith the results from the central part of the batholith indicate that the emplacementtook place as multiple injections of magma in consequenceof repeated cauldron subsidence.
