Abstract

We present and discuss the stratigraphical distribution of ammonites gathered bed by bed from two sections of the Upper Jurassic in the Central Apennines. The first, Monte Lacerone (Sabine Apennines), provides an interesting set of Kimmeridgian faunas, whilst the second, Colle Tordina (Marchean Apennines), provides information about Lower Tithonian faunas.
