Tulitidae genus Bullatimorphites from Upper Bathonian Patcham Formation, Kutch, India

Abstract
Tulitidae genus Bullatimorphites BUCKMAN, is for the first time described and illustrated from India. Systematic study of a single specimen christened Bullatimorfhites sp. has been made. Stratigraphic implications of the occurrence of Bullatimorphites in Kutch western India and its palaeobiogeographic distribution have been discussed. A study of probable palaeoecology of this genus has also been attempted.
