Zusammenfassung. Aus verschiedenen Gegenden Chinas, die zu verschiedenen Platten gehören, werden Graptolithenfaunen der Tetragraptus approximatus - Zone mitgeteilt. Diese Graptolithen-Zone entspricht der Paroistodus proteus-Zone der Conodonten - Chronologie. Die Basis dieser Zonen gilt allgemein als Basis des Arenigium.
Abstract
The presence of graptolite assemblages characterizing the Tetragraptus approximatus Zone is here recognized from several areas of China, which originally belonged to several paleoplates. The T. approximatus graptolite Zone correlates with the Paroistodus proteus conodont Zone. Its base is commonly accepted as marking the base of the Arenig Series.
