A new species of Dictyosporium found on decaying needle-like leaves of Araucaria angustifolia in Brazil is described and illustrated. The new species is characterized by conidia being cheiroid, complanate, with 15–27 cells arranged in 4–6 rows, each with 3–6 cells, and apical cells with hyaline 3–7-celled appendages. Dictyosporium brahmaswaroopii and D. taishanense are new records for the Americas.
