One new genus and two new species of lichenicolous fungi on Cetraria aculeata are described from the Southern Ukraine. The asexual Katherinomyces cetrariae has stromatic, brownish conidiomata with differently sized, irregularly shaped conidiogenous cells, and brown, aseptate, ornamented conidia. Sphaerellothecium aculeatae is distinguished by its small ascomata, non-ornamented thick cells of vegetative hyphae, medium-sized hyaline young ascospores developing in asci and forming brownish mature ascospores after rupture of the ascus wall.
