Six rare species of conidial fungi were found on decaying needle-like leaves and twigs of Araucaria angustifolia in two conservation units in southern Brazil: Chaetoblastophorum ingramii, Conoplea catenata, Cordana mercadiana, Paratetraploa exappendiculata, Pleurophragmium ellipsoideum, and Pseudodictyosporium elegans. We present morphological descriptions, illustrations and comments for each species, extending the knowledge about distribution of these rare conidial fungi in the Araucaria Forest in Brazil.
