Curvatispora singaporensis gen. et sp. nov. is described based on a specimen from Livistona spinosa from Singapore. The genus is placed under Clypeosphaeriaceae and compared with the most similar genera Clypeosphaeria, Ellurema, Lasiosphaeria, Leiosphaerella and Physaiospora. Curvatispora singaporensis has erumpent perithecial ascomata immersed under a clypeus, unitunicate asci with a J+ subapical ring, and unicellular, cylindric-ellipsoid, curved ascospores.
