Abstract

The paper is a result of lichenological research conducted in the Lake Khubsugul National Park in Mongolia in August 2000. There are 26 corticolous and 53 lignicolous lichens reported from taiga forest and mountain tundra in Oran Dosh protected area. The species Schaereria parasemella is reported for the first time from Asia. Biatora chrysantha and Micarea melaeniza are new records for Mongolia. Twenty three species are new to the lichen flora of Khubsugul region: Amandinea punctata, Calicium abietinum, Caloplaca cerina, Catinaria atropurpurea, Cladonia glauca, Diplotomma pharcidium, Hypocenomyce scalaris, Hypogymnia subobscura, Imshaugia aleurites, Japewia tornoensis, Lecanora albellula, L. pulicaris, L. symmicta, L. varia, Lecidella euphorea, Leptogium lichenoides, L. tenuissimum, L. teretiusculum, Mycoblastus sanguinarius, Placynthiella uliginosa, Pseudephebe pubescens, Rinodina turfacea, Xylographa parallela.
