Stolonivector obtusilobus J.J.Engel and S. clasmatocoleoides J.J.Engel, two new members of the Lophocoleaceae from New Zealand, are described and illustrated. Included is a discussion of affinities of both species with S. fiordlandiae (Hodgs.) J.J.Engel and S. waipouensis J.J.Engel. The genus has four species, all endemic to New Zealand. The genus has the largest number of species of any of the genera of Hepaticae that are confined to south temperate and subantarctic regions.
