42 new records (one liverwort, Cephalozia bicuspidata, and 41 mosses) were added to the bryoflora of Iran, among them for the first time taxa of the Ephemeraceae and Seligeriaceae family. Additionally, Platygyrium repens, peviously known only from a single collection by C.Haussknecht 1865 (Gilan province) is re-collected after more than 100 years. The new records augmented the known total number of taxa to 498 (two hornworts, 70 liverworts, 426 mosses).
