Oxyporus mollis sp. nov. (Agaricomycetes) from the Eastern Brazilian Amazonia

Oxyporus mollis is described as new to science based on collections from Amazonia and being characterized by the annual, soft, pliable basidiomata, and smooth cystidia. It was collected on living seedlings or fine wood debris and these types of substrates have hitherto not been reported for any Oxyporus species. Description and line drawings of the new species and a key to the neotropical species of the genus are provided.
