Abstract

Japanese solfatara vegetation was studied from syntaxonomical view point. On the background of floristic comparison could be distinguished following associations and communities: Fimbristyletum dichtomae tashiroanae ass. nova (Kyushu), Caricetum angustisquamae ass. nova (N-Honshu), Jungermannia thermarum community (Kyushu and Honshu), Cladonia theiophyla-Miscanthus sinensis community (Kyushu and Honshu) and Caldonia theiophyla-Deschampsia flexuosa community (Honshu). These associations and communities were synthesized to a new class, a new order and a new alliance: Cladonio theiophylae-Jungermannietea thermari class. nova; Cladonia theiophylae-Jungermannietalia thermari ordo nova; Cladonio theiophylae-Jungermannion thermari all. nova. Furthermore a new association Hyperico yojiroanae-Fimbristyletum dichotomae ass. nova was described from thermal ground around fumaroles Daisetsu, Hokkaido.

Kurzfassung

Die japanischen Solfataren- und Thermalfeld-Pflanzengesellschaften werden syntaxonomisch behandelt. Durch Vergleich der Arten-Kombinationen werden folgende vier Assoziationen und drei Gesellschaften unterschieden. Die meisten Gesellschaften und Assoziationen werden der neuen Vegetationsklasse Cladonio theiophilae-Jungermannietea thermari zugeordnet. Cladonio theiophilae-Jungermannietea thermari class. nova; Cladonio theiophilae-Jungermannietalia thermari ordo nova; Cladonio theiophylae-Jungermannion thermari all. nova; Fimbristyletum dichotomae tashiroanae ass. nova; Caricetum angustisquamae ass. nova; Cladonia theiophyla-Deschampsia flexuosa-Gesellschaft; Cladonia theiophyla-Miscanthus sinensis-Gesellschaft; Jungermannia thermarum-Gesellschaft. Noch nicht bestimmte Klasse, Ordnung und Verband: Hyperico yojiroanae-Fimbristyletum dichotomae annuae ass. nova.
