Die Prä-Namur-B-Schichten der Pisuerga-Carrión-Provinz im Palentiner Becken des östlichen Kantabrischen Gebirges werden als Decke interpretiert, die während des Namur B/C durch Schweregleitung von SSE nach NNW in das Flyschbecken des Palentiner Beckens bewegt wurde. Im Zusammenhang hiermit werden neue Vorstellungen hinsichtlich der Geographie des silurisch-devonischen Sedimentationsraumes entlang der Profillinie von Nordportugal nach Südkantabrien entwickelt.
Abstract
The pre-namurian beds of the Pisuerga-Carrion province in the Palentine basin of the Eastern Cantabrian Mountains are interpreted as a nappe which was transported by gravity sliding from SSE to NNW into the Palentine flysch basin. In relation with those movements a new model is developed concerning the geography of the siluro-devonian basin between Northern Portugal and the Southern Cantabrian Montains.
