Abstract
The fauna on some floating plants and some submerged ones has been studied. The group of chironomids being rich in forms determines the diversity of the composition of total phytophilous fauna. Besides representatives of Oligocheata, Ephemeroptera and Hydracarina were found on all plants. Seasonal changes occurred in the proportions of the common species. On each plant a different species attained greatest abundance.
