Abstract
In the present paper 20 taxa of the genera Netrium (1), Penium (1), Closterium (3), Actinotaenium (1), Cosmarium (10), Staurastrum (2) and Euastrum (2) are presented. Among them 9 taxa are reported for the first time from Turkey.
