Abstract
Biographies of 17 eminent botanists of the 19th and 20th century are presented who contributed much to research on Cyanophytes. Portraits and reference to further biographic and bibliographic details are added. This paper continues the surveys of short biographic notes which we started in Algological Studies 50-53: 19-33, 1988, and continued ibidem 64: 573-586, 1991.
