Abstract
Venue: Kyoto International Conference Hall, Kyoto, Japan Date: August 27 (Sun) - September 1 (Fri), 1989 The scientific program consists of 26 Symposia, 5 Round table sessions and Contributed paper sessions of oral and poster presentations. Some of the topics of Symposium sessions are as follows; Microbiology of extreme environments. Microbial processes in deep sea communities. Microbiology of gastrointestinal systems. Nitrogen fixation in rhizosphere. Microbiology of water pollution and waste water treatment. Fate of engineered microorganisms in the environment. Identification of microorganisms at molecular level.
