Abstract
This page completes 150 volumes of our journal. The first issue of Nachrichtsblatt der Deutschen Malakozoologischen Gesellschaft is dated 1868, and the volume numbering continued smoothly when the title changed to Archiv für Molluskenkunde in 1921. We are the oldest malacological journal still publishing. Generally 1 volume has appeared each year, with an understandable break from 1944 to 1946. Whilst the molluscs considered have always been worldwide in origin, nowadays so is the authorship: over the last 5 years our authors’ addresses spanned 34 countries (Fig. 1). In this recent period, articles’ subject matter has been 43% terrestrial to 22% freshwater to 36% marine, excluding a handful of articles that overlapped these categories, for instance because their focus was biographical.
