Abstract
The description of a new valvatoid Prosobranch snail Sheitanok amidicus n. gen., n. sp. is given, which lives in a spring in SE-Anatolia. It cannot be combined with the known species of similar genera. The differences between the new species and the known small and flat freshwater snails are discussed.
