Abstract
Dr. Ukaigwe has presented an informative treatment of aeromagnetic lineaments of part of the South Australian Clary Province, a province that has long been a key area for providing data relevant to the structural evolution of the Adelaide Geosyncline (Preiss, 1987). He has made an important contribution to an understanding of detailed magnetic patterns, their correlation with local geology, and their relationship up to the scale of crustal patterns. Although the study area is small, it gives firm indications at a local scale of the extended crustal lineament patterns identifiable at a regional scale in the Adelaide Geosyncline as a whole.
