37. Campylopus bermudianus Williams ist identisch mit C. trachyblepharon (C. Müll.) Mitt, aus Brasilien. 38. Die Unterschiede zwischen Campylopus concolor, C. jamesonii und C. oblongus ("Campylopus-concolor-Gruppe") werden angeführt. 39. Campylopus calvatus Dix. in Luis, hat sich als Synonym von C. atroluteus (C. Müll.) Par. erwiesen. 40. Aus Südamerika werden bemerkenswerte bislang unpublizierte Campyiopus-Funde angeführt. Campylopus arctocarpus ist neu für Panama, C. capitulatus neu für Bolivien und Peru, C. harpophyllus für Peru, C. heterostachys für Guatemala, C. paradoxus für Bolivien, C. pauper für Costa Rica und C. trichophylloides für Bolivien. 41. Campylopus hawaiicus (C. Müll.) J.-P. Frahm muß (C. Müll.) Jaeg. zitiert werden. 42. Campylopus tequendamensis Thér. aus Kolumbien ist identisch mit C. tallulensis Sull. & Lesq.

Par. 40. Remarkable records of Campylopus species from South America are listed. Campylopus arctocarpus is reported new to Panama, C. capitulatus is new to Bolivia and Peru, C. harpophyllus to Peru, C. heterostachys to Guatemala, C. paradoxus to Bolivia, C. pauper to Costa Rica and C. trichophylloides to Bolivia. 41.
