Kurzfassung
Aus dem Harz werden einige Moosgesellschaften beschrieben; eine Übersicht der hier dargestellten Gesellschaften findet sich am Ende der Arbeit. - In den Gesellschaften saurer Erdraine wurden recht niedere pH-Werte bestimmt, die meist bei pH 4,2 bis 4,6 lagen (vgl. Tab. 14). Lediglich an Standorten des Fissidentetum bryoidis lagen die Werte im schwach sauren Bereich bis nahe an den Neutralpunkt. - Unter den Wassermoosen ist das Vorkommen des atlantischen Hyocomium armoricum bemerkenswert. - An Felsen ist das schwach azidophile bis neutrophile Amphidietum mougeotii eine charakteristische Gesellschaft. Hier wurde Isopterygium muelleranum erstmals im Harz beobachtet. Andere bemerkenswerte Moose basi- bis neutrophiler Felsmoosgesellschaften sind Catoscopium nigritum (vgl. Tab. 22) und Anomobryum juleaceum (vgl. Tab. 23 und 28), die beide im Harz erstmals festgestellt wurden. Basi- und neutrophytische Felsmoosgesellschaften spielen im Harz jedoch eine geringe Rolle. - Die Wälder des Harzes sind auffallend epiphytenarm. Als epiphytisch wachsende Gesellschaften wurden eine Pterigynandrum filiforme - Gesellschaft, eine mit Zygodon viridissimus und Gesellschaften mit Brachythecium reflexum und Brachythecium starkei dargestellt.
Abstract
Some moss communities of the Harz mountains (N Germany) are described on the basis of BRAUN-BLANQUET's method; a survey of these communities is given at the end of this paper. - In the communities on acid soils a pH range from 4,2 to 4,6 was stated (tab. 14). Only in the habitats of Fissidens bryoides slightly acid pH values are observed. - In the water moss communities the presence of the atlantic Hyocomium armoricum is remarkable. - On the rocks a characteristic neutrophilous to slightly acidophilous moss community is the Amphidietum mougeotii. In this community Isopterygium muelleranum is reported for the first time in the Harz mountains. Other, up to now in this area not known basiphilous to neutrophilous mosses are Catoscopium nigritum (tab. 22) and Anomobryum juleaceum (tab. 23 and 28). - The trees in the Harz montains are poor in epiphytes. The following epiphytic moss communities are described: Pterigynandrum filiforme community, a stand with Zygodon viridissimus and communities with Brachythecium reflexum and Brachythecium starkei.
