Kurzfassung
Die charakteristischen Merkmale der Gattung Protothelenella werden kurz diskutiert und die neun bekannten Arten geschlüsselt. Eine moosparasitische Flechte (Pr. petri) über Polytrichum und ein lichenicoler Pilz auf Cladonia (Pr. santessonii) werden neu beschrieben. Neu kombiniert wird Protothelenella croceae, ein nicht lichenisierter Parasit auf Solorina crocea und Peltigera spp.. Protothelenella corrosa, Pr. sphinctrinoidella und Pr. sphinctrinoides werden neu für das kontinentale Nordamerika nachgewiesen, die letztere auch neu für Grönland. Zusätzliche Verbreitungsangaben einschließlich -karten werden für sieben Arten in Europa geliefert.
Abstract
The characteristics of the genus Protothelenella are briefly discussed. A key to all species is given. One mossparasitic lichen (Pr. petri) on Polytrichum and one lichenicolous fungus on Cadonia (Pr. santessonii) are new to science. In addition one new combination is made for another lichenicolous fungus (Pr. croceae) on Solorina crocea and Peltigera spp.. Protothelenella corrosa, Pr. sphinctrinoidella and Pr. sphinctrinoides are new records for continental North America, the latter also for Greenland. Additional distributional data and maps with the European distribution are provided for seven species.
