Abstract
Permanent plot observations as certain successional changes in lichen vegetation on cut surfaces of Scots pines. After about 11 years the pioneer community of Hypogymnia physodes and Evernia prunastri is succeeded by the Cladonietum glaucae Daniels 1983. The succession is considered directional. In the course of the time wood decay increases.
