Abstract
The mesophilous semi-natural grasslands of the "Campos" in the southern part of Misiones Province (Argentina) have been studied by means of Braun-Blanquet's method. The author describes eight new associations and classifies them synsystematically. Observations on origin and phenology, on management and syndynamics complement the phytosociological investigation. Finally, the conservation of plant communities and landscape of the "Campos" is considered.
