Kurzfassung
Prinzipiell lassen sich für die Unterschutzstellung eines Gebietes substantielle Kriterien: Vielfalt, Seltenheit, Repräsentativität, Bedeutung als biologische Ressource, natur- und kulturhistorische Bedeutung, synökologische Bedeutung und Erlebniswert aufstellen und von akzidentellen Gesichtspunkten (z. B. finanziellen und pflegetechnischen Maßnahmen) unterscheiden. Im allgemeinen Teil der Arbeit werden die Notwendigkeit einer Wertung und Skalierung der substantiellen Kriterien und der Grad der Objektivierbarkeit besprochen. Im speziellen Teil werden am Beispiel von Mooren Beurteilungskriterien für die Qualität erörtert; dies geschieht unter den Aspekten: geographische Lage, aktuelle Vegetation, Erhaltung von Strukturtypen, Bedeutung für Vegetations- und Kulturgeschichte, landschaftsökologische Bedeutung und Erlebniswert.
Abstract
Basically, for nature conservancy programs in defined areas, one may distinguish between accidental aspects (i. e. financial and management possibilities) and substantial criterions: diversity in general, rarity of taxa and communities, representativity, biological ressources, importance for vegetational and cultural history, synecological importance and intrinsic appeal. In the general part, we discuss the necessity of an evaluation according to these substantial criterions for a selection of the most important sites ("key sites") on a regional basis and the degree of objectivity. In the special part, these criterions of quality are discussed in detail, examplified on mire sites with respect to geographical position, composition of the recent vegetation and flora, site feature pattern (microstructure and mire type), importance for vegetational and cultural history, landscape ecology and intrinsic appeal.
