Abstract

Dibra region in the North-Eastern part of Albania, adjacent to Macedonia, represents a varied geology and related mineralization as well as a particular mountain landscape. The highest point is the Korabi peak, which reaches 2750 m of altitude. Many others are from 1800 m to 2500 m high. It looks very curious to remark the presence of a mountain named Allamani Mountain. They are composed of limestones, metamorphic and ultramafic rocks.
