Abstract

At the 13th International Annual Conference of the GeoTop department in Cottbus, the authors presented a poster entitled “AG Geodidaktik Internet platform”. With it, a suggestion to build a dynamic website was described. Above all, this website should help registered AG members to develop geoturistic offers (printed media, excursions, experiments, games, etc.). The idea for this website stemmed from the analysis of a survey that took place in advance. Those surveyed were people interested in geodidactics within the Geo-Top department. The majority manifested the wish to develop common principles and clear definitions for geodidactics. However, almost everybody agreed that, in order to do this, there is little work time and there are no financial means to use. Nevertheless, in order to be able to arrive to the abovementioned wish, the Internet was suggested as a more likely onset of a solution towards an efficient communication platform.
