Kurzfassung
Nach Angaben über Entstehungsgeschichte und Aufbau der Karte werden die bei der Darstellung der rund 820 Eisenerz-Lagerstätten in Europa, Nordafrika und dem Nahen Osten unterschiedenen 10 genetischen Lagerstättentypen und die wichtigeren Untertypen kurz gekennzeichnet. Dabei wird hingewiesen auf die räumliche und zeitliche Verbreitung der Lagerstättentypen und ihre wirtschaftliche Bedeutung nach Anzahl, Vorräten und Förderung der zu ihnen gehörenden Lagerstätten.
Abstract
After details about the history and the composition of the International Iron Ore Map of Europe representing about 820 deposits of Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East we characterize the 10 genetic types and important subtypes of the plotted deposits and direct to the spatial and temporal distribution of these types and to their economic importance according to number, reserves and production of the corresponding desposits.
