Kurzfassung
Das Vulkanfeld der Westeifel umfaßt ca. 240 Eruptionszentren, von denen ca. 60 anhand geologischer Detailkartierung, geomagnetischer Vermessungen, Bohraufzeichnungen und petrographischer Zusammensetzung neu nachgewiesen wurden. Es wird eine Liste aller Vulkane und ihrer wichtigsten "Kenndaten" vorgelegt und kurz kommentiert.
Abstract
The West Eifel volcanic field consists of approximately 240 eruption centers, 60 of which were recently identified by means of detailed geological mapping, systematic geomagnetic measurements, borehole log interpretation and petrographic analysis. All volcanic centers are listed with their most characteristic features indicated, accompanied by a short commentary.
