Abstract

This geomorphological map is one of the fifty charts to appear in the Atlas of the Danubian Countries. The map covers the entire territories of Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Rumania, Bulgaria, Yugoslavia, Albania and Austria (without Vorarlberg and Tirol). Parts of surrounding countries (Turkey, USSR, Poland, GDR, FRG, Italy and Greece) are also mapped. Thus Europe is covered to ca 12- 23° E and to ca 40-51° N. Four different languages (German, English, French and Russian) are used on the map and in the supplementary text, the non-German versions of which are unfortunately marred by some errors.
