Kurzfassung
Der Aufsatz legt das Ergebnis einer mathematisch-physikalischen Herleitung des R-Faktors dar. Es wird dabei Wert auf eine mathematisch korrekte und widerspruchsfreie Darstellung gelegt. Ebenso werden Randbedingungen und Definitionen klar und eindeutig angegeben. Mit der neuen Darstellung des R-Faktors wird dann eine einfache und nachweisbar korrekte Umrechnung der Originalgleichung (Wischmeier & Smith 1978) in SI-Einheiten durchgeführt. Ein Vergleich mit verschiedenen Publikationen zeigt, daß diese Umrechnung nicht bei allen Autoren zum gleichen Resultat führt. Als Konsequenz daraus muß die Vergleichbarkeit verschiedener Forschungsergebnisse über die USLE in Frage gestellt oder zumindest neu beurteilt werden.
Abstract
This paper presents the result of a derivation of the R-factor. Emphasis is laid on obtaining a mathematically correct expression without inconsistencies. Borderline conditions and definitions are clearly and unambiguously stated. Using the new expression of the R-faktor (given here), a simple conversion of the original equation (Wischmeier & Smith 1978) into SI units has been carried out, and has been demonstrated to be correct. A comparative study of a number of previous publications showed that this conversions has repeatedly been carried out incorrectly. This means that some of the results of research on the USLE must be re-examined and possibly corrected.
Résumé
Ce travail présente le résultat d’une déducation mathématico-physique du facteur R. L’accent est mis sur une représentation mathématiquement correcte et sans contradictions. De même, les conditions marginales et les définitions sont indiquées sans ambigüité. Au moyen de la nouvelle représentation du facteur R, il est fait ensuite une transformation simple, et prouvée correcte, de l’équation originale (Wischmeier & Smith 1978) en unités SI. Une comparaison avec diverses publications montre que plusieurs fois, cette transformation a été mal fait. Il en résulte que certains résultats de recherches effectuées sur la USLE doivent être remis en question ou du moins corrigés.
