The anniversary issue Krystalinikum Nr 30 deals with questions
concerning the Bohemian
Massif. Besides standard contributions it contains those bringing
rather specific theories of the origin of granites, the tectonic
structure or the genesis of rocks in regions of high
grade metamorphism. The article on technolithogenesis slightly exceeds this
scope. However, it was published because it
shows a strong tendency towards practical applications of
petrology. Although this has been stressed already in one of the
previous issues, we intend to continue publishing contributions
on applied petrology
in forthcoming issues. However, the next issue of Krystalinikum will deal
with the geology and petrology of Central America.
