Senckenberg Monographs ISSN 2943-7539

Senckenberg Monographs is a new international series of monographs in various disciplines of natural sciences, such as taxonomy, systematics, collections, ecology, stratigraphy and history of nature science, either as self-standing individual works or as thematically homogeneous (monothematic) volumes consisting of individual contributions (proceedings). For many years, the Senckenberg Society for Nature Research of Frankfurt, Germany published three independent series of monographs, each with particular topical orientation: Abhandlungen der Senckenberg Gesellschaft für Naturforschung (paleontology, zoology, anthropology), Nova Supplementa Entomologica (entomology) and Peckiana up to 2024.

The editors of the three series and the Senckenberg Board of Directors decided to establish a new publication format under the title ‘Senckenberg Monographs’, into which the three formerly independent series are now merged from 2024 on. Authors who are specialists in their field and selected peer reviewers will, as in the past, guarantee the high standard of the content.
