Publication ethics statement

Schweizerbart and Borntraeger have required and engaged in proper publication ethics long before this recently became an issue of discussion and warranted statements.

Authors and submission

Any post-submission change in authorship and any changes to the text other than typesetting errors must be be approved by the handling editor in charge and one of the chief editors.

By submitting a paper to this journal all authors confirm that this submission has not and will not be submitted elswhere before a final publication decision has been communicated to the authors.
Violations of the standard rules of scientific publication (see: 2. Authorship and contributorship at publicationethics.org) will result in immediate decline of the submitted manuscript; any costs and expenses caused by such violation will be charged to the authors.

Reviewers and editors

Peer reviewers support the editorial process with topic-related expertise, helping authors in making their paper publishable. Reviewers agree to treat the manuscripts as confidential documents which are intellectual property of their respective authors. Reviewers/Editors should decline reviewing/handling papers for which they have a conflict of interests. See Peer Review Process at publicationethics.org for detailed information.

If you are an author or reviewer, uncertain about particular issues with a manuscript, please feel free to contact the editors (see contact information on the respective editorial board page) at any time.
