Abstract
Mitra (Mitra) deprofundis n. sp. is described from the Coral Sea, 210 to 260 m deep, south of New Caledonia; it is compared with M. (M.) mitra (Linnaeus 1758). - Mitra (Mitra) marrowi n. sp. is described from moderately deep water (120-480 m) off Bohol/Panglao (Central Philippines), off Balut Island, Mindanao (Southern Philippines), and from 80m depth off Northern Transkei, South Africa; it is compared with M. (M.) hilli Cernohorsky 1976 and M. (M.) subflava (Kuroda & Habe 1971). - Mitra (Mitra) salva n. sp. is described from sublittoral zones (36-275 m) off the Central Philippines (S. Bohol to S. E. Luzon); it is compared with M. (M.) hilli, M. (M.) marrowi n. sp. and M. (M.) sacerdotalis A. Adams 1853. - Mitra (Mitra) glaphyria n. sp. is described from 370-800 m deep water of the Indian Ocean 300 to 400 km northwest of Port Hedland, Western Australia, and from 140-240 m deep water off the Central and Southern Philippines; it is compared with M. (M.) triplicata Martens 1904.
Kurzfassung
Mitra (Mitra) deprofundis n. sp. wird aus 210-260 m Tiefe des Korallen-Meers südlich von Neukaledonien beschrieben und mit der ähnlichen Art Mitra mitra(Linnaeus 1758) verglichen. - Mitra (Mitra) marrowi n. sp. wird aus mäßi tiefem Wasser (120-480 m) vor Bohol/Panglao (Zentral-Philippinen), vor Balut, Mindanao (Süd-Philippinen) und aus 80 m Tiefe vor Nord-Transkei (Südafrika) beschrieben und mit M. (M.) hilli Cernohorsky 1976 sowie M. (M.) subflava (Kuroda & Habe 1971) verglichen. - Mitra (Mitra) salva n. sp. wird aus sublitoralen Zonen (36-275 m) der Zentral-Philippinen (Süd-Bohol bis Südost-Luzon) beschrieben und mit M. (M.) hilli Cernohorsky 1976, M. (M.) marrowi n. sp. sowie M. (M.) sacerdotalis A. Adams 1853 verglichen. - Mitra (Mitra) glaphyria n. sp. wird aus 370 bis ca. 800 m tiefem Wasser des Indischen Ozeans 300 bis 400 km nordwestlich von Port Hedland (West-Australien) und aus 140 bis 240 m tiefem Wasser der Zentral- und Süd-Philippinen beschrieben und mit M.
