Abstract
Himalocharopa machhapuchhre gen. nov. sp. nov. is a minute punctoid snail from Nepal characterized by a depressed conical-globular shell with tightly coiled, rounded whorls, a protoconch with strong radial ribs and weak irregular, discontinuous spiral wrinkles between them, a teleoconch with strong radial ribs, and a wide and concentric umbilicus. Its phylogenetic relationships and biogeographic relations remain to be clarified.
