Kurzfassung
Der Kongreß findet auf Grund eines Beschlusses des letzten Internationalen Kongresses in zeitlichem Zusammenhang mit dem 6. Inqua-Kongreß 1961 (in Polen) statt. Die wesentlichen Vortragsveranstaltungen werden in Wien vom 18. bis 23. September 1961 stattfinden. Der Kongreß wird vom 24. bis 26. September in Obertraun (Oberösterreich) fortgesetzt und vom 26. bis 28. September 1961 in Salzburg abgeschlossen. Vorexkursionen vom 15. bis 17. September, Nachexkursionen vom 26. September bis 2. Oktober 1961. Am 25. September eine Festveranstaltung in Obertraun und Hallstatt (Salzkammergut) anläßlich der 50-Jahr-Feier der Dachsteinhöhlen. Am 26. September ein Festakt in Salzburg anläßlich des 50jährigen Bestandes des Landesvereines für Höhlenkunde in Salzburg. Änderungen des Programms sind vorbehalten.
Abstract
The congress is being held in conjunction with the 6th Inqua Congress in 1961 (in Poland), based on a resolution passed at the last International Congress. The main lecture events will take place in Vienna from September 18 to 23, 1961. The congress will continue from September 24 to 26 in Obertraun (Upper Austria) and conclude from September 26 to 28, 1961, in Salzburg. Preliminary excursions will take place from September 15 to 17, and follow-up excursions from September 26 to October 2, 1961. On September 25, a celebratory event will be held in Obertraun and Hallstatt (Salzkammergut) to mark the 50th anniversary of the Dachstein Caves. On September 26, a ceremony will be held in Salzburg to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Salzburg State Association for Speleology. Changes to the program are reserved.
