Schweizerbart Pay-per-view (PPV) license

1. Schweizerbart Science Publishers licenses digital content to users via their Pay-Per-View (PPV) Service. This extract from Schweizerbart's digital contents license defines the rights and obligations of either party.
2. Pay-Per-View (PPV) license: Schweizerbart Science Publishers grants pay-per-view (PPV) customers (such customers that purchase individual papers and / or articles online) a non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-sublicensable right to access the digital content in accordance with the conditions described below. Note that this excludes the dissemination, passing on making available in to third parties of the contents licensed, for example on the internet or in online repositories or equivalent services. The digital content may be viewed or searched for private use or for research.
   PPV-customers wishing to obtain a license for purposes outside the scope of this license are asked contact Schweizerbart's licensing department (licensing@schweizerbart.de).
3. In the case of ppv-access solely the subscriber/ the purchaser is authorized to access the digital content.
4. In order to use Schweizerbart Science Publishers Pay Per View Service, pay-per-view (ppv) customers must register their details with us including real name, postal- and e-mail address. Furthermore, ppv-customers must consent to Schweizerbart processing their personal data in accordance with its privacy statement. Use of the Schweizerbart ppv-service implies, that customer agrees to his/her data being processed as outlined above.
5. Place of performance is Stuttgart, Germany. Place of jurisdiction in deals and transactions with merchants, legal entities under public law and with special federal funding is Stuttgart, Germany.
6. If individual provisions of this contract are ineffective or have turned ineffective, this this shall not affect the validity of the remainder of the contract as a whole.
