Abstract
International Symposium of Human Genetics, Amritsar/India, February 6-9, 1990: More than 150 scientists from India and 20 other countries participated at the four-day symposium "Genetics, Health and Disease" in Amritsar, India, between 6 and 9 February, 1990. The conference was organized by Prof. Jai Rup Singh, School of Life Sciences, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, and sponsored by the University Grants Commission. The Indian Society of Human Genetics, and the Indian Anthropological Association were collaborators in this matter; 2. Tagung der Gesellschaft für Humangenetik: Vom 28.-31. März 1990 fand in Bonn die 2. Tagung der Gesellschaft für Humangenetik (GfH) statt (Tagungspräsident: P. Propping, Programmkomitee: K.-H. Grzeschik, Marburg; W. Vogel, Ulm; P. Propping und K. Zerres, Bonn). Der Aufbau der gut organisierten Tagung entsprach im wesentlichen dem des vorausgegangenen 1. Treffens in München: mündliche Tagungsbeiträge wurden den Kategorien Symposium, Workshop oder "Free communications" zugeordnet, alle anderen Beiträge wurden in Form von Postern, insgesamt über 200, präsentiert.
