Abstract
After 10 years, this will be the last issue of Archiv für Molluskenkunde in which John Hutchinson, Heike Reise and Katrin Schniebs act as editors. We would like to take the opportunity to thank Robert Forsyth for his enthusiastic and diligent assistance throughout this period, providing diverse services and knowledgeable advice well beyond his paid duties as copy editor and technical editor. He has maintained the highest standards, and nothing has been too much trouble for him to get absolutely right. Julia Sigwart will be continuing in her role as editor.
