Kurzfassung
Die systematische Stellung der Orculidae wird diskutiert und die Phylogenie der Orculidae wird in einer kladistischen Analyse mit Hilfe des Programms PAUP rekonstruiert. Die asiatischen Arten und Unterarten der Orculidae werden revidiert. Die Orculidae sind wahrscheinlich die Schwestergruppe der Argnidae. Die zylindrische Gehäuseform und der Verlust der Angularis sind potentielle Synapomorphien der beiden Taxa. Der modifizierte Aufbau des Penisappendix ist eine Autapomorphie der Orculidae. Die Phylogenie der supraspezifischen Taxa der Orculidae wird in einem Kladogramm dargestellt. Für die Gruppe, die Fauxulus, Odontocyclas und Walklea einschließt, wird der Name Odontocycladinae n. subfam. vorgeschlagen. Aus Asien sind 30 Arten mit 20 Unterarten aus sieben Gattungen bekannt. 21 (Unter-)Arten und eine Gattung werden neu beschrieben. Bei jedem Taxon wird das Gehäuse und das Genitalsystem (sofern bekannt) beschrieben und abgebildet. Alle Synonyme und Literaturzitate werden zusammengestellt. Die Verbreitung wird zusammengefaßt und alle asiatischen Fundorte werden aufgelistet. Die Verbreitung der Arten und Unterarten wird auf Karten auf der Basis des UTM-Netzes dargestellt.
Abstract
The systematic position of the Orculidae is discussed and the phylogeny of the Orculidae is reconstructed in a cladistic analysis with the program PAUP. The Asian species and subspecies of the Orculidae are revised. The Orculidae are probably the sister group of the Argnidae. The cylindrical shape of the shell and the loss of the angularis are potential synapomorphies of the two taxa. The modified structure of the penial appendix is an autapomorphy of the Orculidae. The phylogeny of the supraspecific taxa of the Orculidae is figured in a c1adogram. For the clade including Fauxulus, Odontocyclas and Walklea the name Odontocycladinae n. subfam. is proposed. From Asia 30 species with 20 subspecies of seven genera of Orculidae are known. 21 (sub-)species and one genus are described as new to science. For every taxon the shell and the genital system (as far as known) are described and illustrated. All synonyms and references are listed. The distribution is summarized and all Asian locality records are listed. The distribution of the species and subspecies is illustrated on UTM-grid-maps.
