Kurzfassung
Bis anhin war Plagioahita exigua (TAYL.) TAYL. in Europa nur von der atlantischen Westküste, von Großbritannien und von den atlantischen Inseln bekannt. Jetzt konnte die Art neu in Mitteleuropa, im Tessin (Schweiz) gefunden werden. Der Fundort liegt im insubrischen Klimabereich mit mehr als 2000 mm Jahresniederschlag. Das Lebermoos wächst an zeitweilig sickerfeuchten Stellen einer Gneissteilwand, die vor direkter Sonneneinstrahlung geschützt ist.
Abstract
So far, in Europe, Plagiochila exigua (TAYL.) TAYL. has been reported only from the atlantic westcoast, Great Britain and the atlantic islands. A recent collection gives evidence of its occurrence in Central Europe, in the Ticino (Switzerland). The station is located within the area of Insubrian climate with an annual precipitation of more than 2000 mm. This tiny hepatic grows in small tufts or among other bryophytes on a steep, occasionaly damp cliff of silicious rock in a sheltered but not deeply shaded place.
