Kurzfassung
Als Indikatoren für die Luftverschmutzung in Brandenburg werden an insgesamt 37 Stationen Schadstoffe wie Schwefeldioxid, Schwebstaub, Stickoxide, Ozon und Kohlenmonoxid automatisch und kontinuierlich gemessen. An einigen Stationen werden außerdem andere Substanzen wie Kohlenwasserstoffe und meteorologische Parameter ermittelt. Zwei Episoden mit höherer Luftverschmutzung werden diskutiert. Ende des Jahres 1992 trat eine Smogsituation in Südbrandenburg auf. Eine weitere Episode mit höherer Luftbelastung verursacht durch Verkehrsemissionen im Großraum Berlin-Brandenburg wird beschrieben.
Abstract
Major pollutants, such as sulphur dioxide, suspended dust, nitrogen oxide, ozone and carbon monoxide are automatically and continuously measured as indicators of the air pollution level on the whole at 37 monitoring stations in Brandenburg. Other substances as hydrocarbons and meteorological parameters are also monitored at some stations. Two episodes with a higher air pollution are under discussion. There was one smog situation at the end of the year 1992 in Southern Brandenburg. Another episode with a higher air pollution caused by motor car emission in the large area of Berlin-Potsdam will be described.
