Kurzfassung
Es wird gezeigt, daß die "Stromfunktionsmethode ", die bisher nur für die Lösung zweidimensionaler inkompressibler Strömungsprobleme gebräuchlich ist, auf plausible Weise auf drei Dimensionen verallgemeinert werden kann. Die Besonderheit des neuen Verfahrens besteht darin, daß nur zwei Stromfunktionskomponenten benötigt werden. Im Anschluß an die analytischen Erörterungen wird ein numerisches Modell zur Gebäudeumströmung vorgestellt, das auf der verallgemeinerten Methode basiert. Die Resultate einiger Testrechnungen belegen deren praktische Anwendbarkeit.
Abstract
It is shown that the stream-function method, which is dedicated to the solution of two-dimensional incompressible flow problems, can be generalized to three dimensions in a natural way. The main feature of the new method is that only two stream-function components are needed. After analytical considerations a numerical model for the calculation of air flow around buildings is presented which is based on the generalized method. The results of some test simulations show the practical applicability of the method.
