Abstract
Paleomagnetic and geological data give evidence that the Central-East-Iran microplate performed a 135° anticlockwise rotation since the Triassic. Several tectonical and paleogeographical problems of this area may be solved by an adequate geometric reconstruction of the original geological pattern.
Kurzfassung
Paläomagnetische und geologische Daten zeigen, daß die Zentral-Ost -Iran Mikroplatte seit der Trias eine Gegenzeigerrotation von 135° ausgeführt hat. Manche tektonische und paläogeographische Probleme dieses Gebietes lassen sich durch eine entsprechende Rekonstruktion des ursprünglichen geologischen Baues lösen.
