Abstract
Phenograms and Dice-Leraas diagrams, constructed using 10 cheek tooth variables measured in reasonably well-dated local samples of Central European Hipparion, indicate orderly temporal and geographic differentiation in over-all size and morphology of the teeth. The implications are discussed.
Kurzfassung
Phänogramme und Dice-Leraas-Diagramme, bezogen auf 10 Variable von Hipparion-Backenzähnen aus gut datierten mitteleuropäischen Fundstellen, zeigen klare zeitliche und geographische Differenzierungen in Dimensionen und Formen. Hieraus werden allgemeine Folgerungen gezogen.
